hi, I'm rayna
WHO?
Me:)
Barbora Rayna, a human being walking this Earth.
I’m kind of a jack of all trades – I’m devoted to personal growth, and within psychology, I’m particularly drawn to the Jungian approach. In terms of faith, if I had to use labels, I resonate a lot with Sufism (Islam). I’m an artistic soul, and I like to be finding beauty in the world and in life itself. I draw, paint, read, create graphic designs, write, continue learning, work out, work with children, spend time in nature, and explore both what is possible and what seems impossible. I percieve life as a whole, as an experience, and I live it as such.
As you might gather from my words, I take a holistic approach. I see people as complex beings, and life as a complex experience. The minds of others have always fascinated me, and I love spending hours with people exploring, reflecting, and diving into deep topics and the hidden corners of their minds (as well as my own). I love, and I truly have to say it that way – it brings joy to the very core of me, the complexity and uniqueness of people, and I see it as a profound blessing to be able to help uncover, refine, and nurture that authenticity.
Others often describe me as very calm and grounded. Not so long ago, I was told that I have the ability to ground any situation. I’ve always found that a bit amusing, because internally I experience myself as someone full of energy, impulsivity, thoughts drifting in the clouds, and unpredictable life moves. Even though it’s quite rare for something to shake me. I like to go where life pulls me, and I don’t resonate with boxing and labeling myself (or others). The diversity in the smallest details that can be found in this life and people, warms my heart. I approach this all as an experience where we are to learn and evolve, so I’m always open to discovering something new. I work with gratitude daily – for everything I’ve been and I am blessed with. And even though I’m not immune to occasional lows (after all, they’re part of the experience too), I’m able to find beauty in everything. I’ll always laugh at a bad joke, and “ugly” weather is charging me.
Aligned within, present in the world.
My journey
Despite my young-looking face, I’ve already been through quite a lot in life. Personal growth has been part of my journey for over ten years, including six years of active therapy. My story began with immense naivety and deep depression (lasting around eight years in total). I had deeply ingrained people-pleasing patterns that often led me into situations where I was constantly betraying myself, going directly against my own inner guidance. I’ve always naturally believed in the good people, and deep in my heart until this day, I’ve never been able to see the world as a cruel place, which was the exact thing that often led to painfully “unnecessary” experiences I had to go through back then. My depression deepened, and my life felt unchangeable. For several years, I lived with daily thoughts of how relieving it would be to disappear from this world. My existence was filled with loneliness, even though I surrounded myself with an almost unbelievable number of people. My pain and trauma rooted me deeply in a victim mindset.
During the first few years, I tried to light my mind through self-help techniques, books, and advice. But as it often goes, you read something, rationalize it, feel better for a moment, yet in the bigger picture, almost nothing actually changes, even when genuine effort is there. At the point where I understood my traumas, had a nearly perfect map of my inner world, my patterns, what was repeating in my life and why – and it kept happening, I concluded therapy being the next step on my journey.
My first therapist practiced traditional Rogerian talk therapy, which didn’t work for me at all as for a client, so I had to keep searching. Then I came across a therapeutic approach that quite literally changed my entire life, and that I’m lucky enough to now integrate into my own work. Accessing the depths of the subconscious and healing on those levels shifted my reality by 180 degrees within the first two years. Because of the complexity and intensity of my trauma, it took a bit of time, but it was fascinating for me to witness how quickly and effectively my perspective was shifting – regarding the world, other people, and myself – within the very first weeks of therapy. Over time, I stabilized myself. I healed my relationship with myself, with my family, and with friends. I started actively setting boundaries and completely freed myself from the darkness of believing that life was cruel to me and that I was destined to suffer through it. In the third year of therapy, my depressive episodes completely disappeared, I overcame addiction, and I finally began standing fully on my own feet. I changed environments, communities. My relationship with God and my spiritual path expanded into depths and heights I once could have only dreamed of.
Today, I’m in a place where I genuinely enjoy being alive, where I exist with lightness. I went from the unbearable weight of severe depressive depths, where I didn’t even want to exist, to truly loving life, being mesmerized by it and feeling gratitude for every single moment. Throughout my process, I moved through many phases, and for a long time, conscious creating reality was a major topic for me. At this point, I’ve arrived at the simplicity of being as it is, and I welcome everything that comes to me with open arms. I’m letting go of control completely (even though it occasionally tries to resurface), and allowing myself to be guided anywhere that I feel it’s right for me. And I’ve never experienced greater freedom.
I take my life experience and transform it into helping and guiding others. Over the years, I’ve encountered many different communities and people with vastly different beliefs and personalities, which (combined with my own nature and education) has allowed me to see people beyond simplifying labels, exactly as they are standing in front of me, in the complexity and wholeness of their being. And I couldn’t be more grateful for who I am today and where I’m at.
RST Therapy™
In my work, I use RST Therapy™ (Rapid Subconscious Transformational Therapy by Andrea Khadijah). It is a comprehensive personal development method that combines elements of coaching, NLP, quantum therapy, neuroscience, and other approaches focused on personal growth and inner transformation.
How it works:
Through an initial relaxation process, the brain naturally slows its activity into the alpha state, which, according to the RST method, allows more effective access to subconscious patterns, beliefs, and emotional responses.
Together, the practitioner and client identify and transform negative behavioral patterns, limiting beliefs, and the root causes of recurring emotional reactions. The process takes place through guided visualizations with closed eyes and is aimed at fostering deeper understanding, emotional relief, and positive change.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Below you will find recommendations for a few resources that I believe are worth spending some time on. Each medium requires an open mind and individual understanding of the given content, intertextuality, humanities overview or self-study, and will certainly not suit everyone. In my list you will find books, podcasts, audiovisual recordings, forcing one to stop and think. These are definitely not exclusively scientific works (although those can be found as well) – as is certainly evident, I work with complexity and you can expect exactly that here. The individual items are not arranged in any specific order.
